Opera Place I (887 Bay Street), Opera Place II (889 Bay Street) and 909 Bay Street (Allegro), collectively known as the Allegro Condos, are a series of building complexes that reside on Bay Street, just south of Wellesley Street West. Opera Place I and its twin tower, Opera Place II, were completed in 1998-1999 by Morguard, a fully integrated real estate company dedicated to building a sustainable future. All three buildings are connected by the lobby and feature 24-hour security, fitness room, party room, guest suites, and visitor parking.
887 Bay Street and 889 Bay Street are located near the corner of Bay Street and Maitland Street (a block south of Wellesley Street West), and are just steps to the University of Toronto, 24-hour Rabba supermarket, and Winners shopping. Wellesley Station and College Station are both within walking distance, as are the 506 Carlton streetcar and 94 Wellesley bus. 909 Bay Street is located just north of Maitland Street and provides easy access to Queen's Park and is a ten-minute stroll to Yorkville and Bloor Street. The Opera Place Condos feature a mix of studio, one bedroom, one bedroom with den, two bedroom, and two bedroom with den suites ranging in size from 535 square feett to 1,128 square feet. Generous dens often double as additional bedrooms, and larger floor plans offer ensuite baths and walk-in closets. The Allegro offers suites ranging in size from 476 square feet for a studio with bedroom nook to 1,480 square feet for a three bedroom, two bathroom unit with balcony. Kitchens are offered in a closed or open concept plan, and most suites have balconies with downtown views.
